Cockroach, also address as roach are approximately of 4,600 species amongst the most primitive winged insects. The cockroach is usually identified by its flattened oval body, long antennae, and a shiny dark brown leathery body. The head is bent downward, and the mouth parts point back and most of the male have two pairs of wings where else females in some species are wingless.
The life cycle of a Cockroach consist of the female producing eggs in egg cases (ootheca). Sometimes extended from their lower body or may be placed glued in undisturbed areas. Once female produces an egg case, it take some time for the soft white nymphs to emerge. As they grow their exoskeleton part of the body hardens, it turns brown in colour.
Cockroaches prefers warm, humid, dark spaces and usually found in tropical forested areas or mild climates. Less than a handful of these species have become pests to man. They damage more material items than consuming it and discharge a musky odour.
